It was a mini fan fair as Rivers APC Exco led by Chief Davies Ikanya ( State Party Chairman), accompanied by other state Excos visited Akuku Toru and Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers State for a sensitization visit.
APC LGA Ward, and unit Excos in Akuku Toru LGA turned out in mass to welcome the chairman and his entourage. Speaking at the event Chief Ikanya thanked the LGA party leadership under Don Pedro for the good work so far, he assured the Excos that the Party leadership is aware of the peculiar challenges that everyone is facing, he also said there is need for all hands to be on deck towards the next election, and reward is closer than they think. The AKULGA Excos were also giving the opportunity to ask questions which were treated squarely by the Party Chairman.
Some members of People's Democratic Party ( PDP) decamped to the APC, the decampees were : Mr Douglas WaSerite Dodiyi-Manuel- the 2015 House of Representatives candidate of the Labour Party, Alabo Charles Dokubo a governorship aspirant of the PDP in 2015 and Go-Oba Roberts who was the governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party.
The Train then then moved to Ikwerre LGA , were there was massive turnout also. Chief Ikanya, also thanked the leadership of ikwerre LGA under Hon Ikenga Chibike , the Party Chairman ,and the ward and unit Excos for been steadfast and unmovable irrespective of the challenges so far, he assured them that the leadership are fully aware and are working towards eradicating the little challenges that is been faced by the Excos.
Ikwerre LGA Excos were also giving the opportunity to ask questions which were treated squarely by the State Party Chairman.
