…As RIWAMA Boss, Bro Felix Obuah,Says There Will Be Restriction of Movement
This month’s sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday, November 25, 2017, across the 23 Local Government Areas of Rivers State from 7am – 10am.
The Sole Administrator of Rivers State Waste Management Agency, Bro Felix Obuah, who announced the sanitation exercise in a statement in Port Harcourt, the State capital, said there will be restriction of human and vehicular movements during the period of the exercise(7am – 10am), whileappealing to all Rivers people and those living and doing business in the State to participate fully in the sanitation exercise.
The RIWAMA Sole Administrator urged owners of trucks (individuals and cooperate organizations) to make available their trucks for theevacuationof waste that would be generated as a result of the sanitation exercise.
Mr Felix Obuah also said all Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the 23 Local Government Councils of Rivers State should ensure strict compliance with the sanitation exercise and restriction of human and vehicular movements in their areas.
