River APC Sensitization train today hit ONOLGA, ANDONI LGAs for the ongoing sensitization exercise. The train was led by the State Chairman Dr Davies Ibiamu Ikanya, members of his Excos.
Senibo Tonye Epelle, Ksc,Chairman APC Opobo/Nkoro on behalf of Amaopusenibo. Sam Sam Jaja, Ph.D, JP member Board of Trustees APC national and Amaopusenibo Dakuku Adol Peterside, Ph.D, DG NIMASA and the entire membership of APC in the LGA welcomed the State Chairman,
Chief Davis Ikanya and the State Excos to Opobo/Nkoro. Sir Tonye Epelle stated that Opobo/Nkoro is for APC and also pledge the LGAs unapologetic loyalty to the Leader of the party in South South, the Hon. Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the party's readiness to deliver APC in the area come 2019.
The State Chairman Chief Ikanya while speaking to party faithfuls in Opobo assured them of victory in all elections in 2019 and urged the few members of the PDP in the LGA to make good use of the registration that's ongoing in the party and register as he assured them of equal treatment when they officially get registered. After questions were entertained, and answered the event came to an end.
The train then moved to Andoni Local Government Area where the state Chairman and his entourage were received by ecstatic party Excos. The Andoni APC Party Chairman Hon Jephthah Alaka,thanked the chairman for the visit and prayed God to bless him and his team.
Chief Davies Ikanya the state Party Chairman, thanked the Andoni people on-behalf of the leader of the Party Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (Honorable Minister of transportation), for keeping faith in the Party and working tirelessly , he however said there is need to synergize and work together, in his words "any Exco that doesn't change from bad ways, we will change you". He further promised that the good and rosy days are closer than everyone thinks, but all that is needed is a little extra push.
The climax of the Event was the receiving of defectors from every ward of Andoni LGA. The defectors happen to be big weights which include Chief James atenesuis Atejatu who doubles as former second in command to Engr Tele Ikuru( former Deputy Governor of Rivers State) in his words "APC is home and we are back to sweep out the negative PDP, I assure you full support in all elections.
After contributions and questions were asked, the meeting ended with vote of thanks from Hon Orom Ereforokuma former Executive Chairman, Andoni LGA.
