It was indeed a sight to behold today as members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Rivers State Executive Council led by Chief Davies Ikanya Visited Asari Toru Local Government Area (ASALGA ) for the ongoing sensitization exercise.
Members of the LGA Excos and party stalwarts turned out in mass to welcome the state Chairman and his entourage ,what was supposed to be a meeting for only Excos turned out to a mini "fan fair ".

Hon Ojukaye Flag Amachree who is the leader of the Party at the LGA level welcome the State Chairman and his Excos. The LGA Party Chairman Hon. Daere Samuel-Horsfall, also thanked the State Chairman Dr Ikanya for finding time to come and interact with the Excos, saying it is a step into the right direction. In his words " ASALGA is APC, we have a God leader in the person of Hon Ojukaye, and we will deliver in the forth coming elections.
After accreditation of LGA , and ward Excos , the state Chairman Chief Ikanya thanked the people of ASALGA for keeping faith in the Party, irrespective of surrounding circumstances. He also said " it is time to build the Party, and prepare to chase the illegal occupants of the brick house out", he further enjoined them to be strong and committed to their work, as they are leaders in their respective rights.
Chief Davies Ikanya also said the State leadership is aware that there is Hunger and efforts are been made to carry everyone alone. Furthermore, he stressed that there was no division in the Party, that rather the Party is United under Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. Finally he asked the Excos to "take charge of the party in their dormain".
