Democracy Day : Nigeria Is Attractive To The Rest Of The World -Prince Awalanta

..... it behoves on all  to rethink and reflect on the level we have come as a Nation.

The Former Caretaker Chairman of Eleme Local Government, Hon Prince Awalanta Mike Ejire  felicitates with Nigerians on the auspicious occasion of  democracy day.

According to Prince Ejire "While it may be easy to sit and criticize, I think  our higher calling is to stand up and serve.
Despite several challenges faced, we should realize that these challenges though peculiar to our country, are not exclusive to us as an African country, as an emerging mega socio-economic power".

Prince Awalanta who is also the Prince of Eleme Kingdom; highlighted that, " The greatest challenge we are facing now as a country is lack of patriotism, this is felt in all spheres of contact . But I think, there is no time to lose hope, Rather, this is a time for us to summon courage, map out strategies, and get active, to make our voice heard, and our efforts felt".

He continued: " As we mark yet another democracy day, let me most humbly urge all Nigerian youths to have a rethink and understand that Nigeria is attractive to the rest of the world today because of its potentials; and that this potentials is simply the number of young people in it".

So let's unanimously give President Buhari led Federal Government the needed support in repositioning our great country for the betterment of all, as statistics available shows Nigeria is progressing to an enviable heights. Be  true and real participants in this democracy instead of being used as agents of destruction.
