Inter-Ethnic Network For Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (INCRA) has described Gov Wike's Allegations as : Hollow Empty and Mischievous . Statement Released today by the group's Interim Management Team (IMT) reads :
This morning, at 7am precisely, Governor Nyesom Wike made a Statewide broadcast across media platforms in Rivers State where he alleged amongst others;
That the APC, acting through the trio of Hons. Ojukaye Flag-Amachree, State APC Chairman; Emmanuel Chinda, Former Commissioner for Agriculture; and His Excellency, Amb.Oji Ngofa have perfected plans to disrupt the illegal Local Government Elections slated for this week Saturday, 16th June, 2018.
Typical of him, he did not put forward any evidence to support his claims.
INCRA wishes to remind the discerning public that Rivers APC had long announced its decision to boycott the said elections as it is a matter of adjudication before both the Appeal and Supreme Courts.
Moreso, the public is aware that Amb. Oji Ngofa is in far away Netherlands delivering service to our great country as Nigeria's Ambassador to that country, while Hon.Ojukaye is in Abuja preparing for the forthcoming APC National Convention.
We would like to reiterate that the allegations by the Governor are hollow, insane and fits in to his antecedents of diverting attention whenever he is planning something sinister. The Governor must know that we shall hold him responsible should anything untoward happen to these citizens or any other person at that.
Importantly, this is not the first time the Governor would be making wild and frivolous allegations without adducing necessary evidence, you may wish to recall the CD, Ikoyi gate and assassination allegations.
Finally, from his croaked voice, it is very easy to notice fears all over the Governor, by classifying some LGAs as flash points, the Governor has invariably acknowledged that he is not on ground, knowing those areas to APC strongholds.
