... Accuses him to cutting off communication with students
National Association Of Nigerian Students ( NANS) Zone B which covers South South / South Eastern part of Nigeria has accused Governor Nyesome Wike of been onserious towards the student community in Rivers state.
In their open letter to the Governor, they expressed their surprise how a former junior Minister of Education will treat Education in his state with "kid gloves " little wonder he doesn't have a Special Adviser on Student Affairs . They also said due to Wike's cancellation of all Scholarships programs in the state, a lot of youths now sleep in streets and u see bridges since they are now left helpless.
Furthermore, they demanded that bursaries and other entitlements should be duly paid to students, Scholarship programs be reinstated, A Special Adviser be appointed immediately who will interface with students, All illegal educational charges be dropped with immediate effect amongst others demands...
