Friends Of Amaechi Donate Houses, Gift Items, Other Valuables In Commemoration Of His 54TH Birthday.

Dr. Chris Oyirinda Amadi, Acting Executive Director Finance and Administration, NDDC, yesterday, led friends and supporters of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CON, Minister of Transportation, to some Orphanage and special homes in Port Harcourt to donate gift items and celebrate with the children as part of activities marking the 54th birthday of the Honourable Minister.

Speaking on behalf of Friends of Amaechi, Dr. Amadi said the visit to the Orphanage and special homes was done in line with the passion, desire and wishes of Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who has demonstrated enormous love for children and the less privileged in the society. He added that  identifying and giving to the less privileged  was in line with scriptural provisions and christian tenets.



"We are here on behalf of our leader and mentor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, to share and celebrate specially with you as part of activities to mark his 54th birthday.

We are here because we know this is the right thing to do and we know as Christians, we must reach out to the needy and less privileged in the society. Our leader, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is godfearing, compassionate and a lover of children, so we feel one of the best ways to celebrate him today is to identify and share with you."

At our Lady Mother of Perpetual Help Charisma School/Orphanage Home, Omagwa, one of the homes visited, Dr. Amadi, pledge to reach out to the Management team of the NDDC on their behalf to ensure that the school/orphanage home receives some of the school desks being distributed to schools by the Commission.

Some of the Orphanage/Special Homes visited were: The Child Special School (Daughters of Charity) at D-Line, Port Harcourt; Our Lady Mother of Perpetual Help Charisma School/Orphanage Home at Omagwa and  Global Foundation for Orphaned Children, East West Road, Nkpolu, Rumuigbo.The Acting EDFA, assured them of conveying their appreciation and prayers to the Honourable Minister.

Also in the build up to the celebration of Amaechi's birthday, Houses and other valuables were given out to some indigent Rivers State indigenes by Friends of Amaechi.
