In their response the Publicity Secretary Of The APC Students League Oge Okparanta
said :

"The attention of Rivers students have been drawn to a media release by a group; 'Rivers Network for Positive Change', signed by one Ebezin Green Ogbuleka in which it described Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a man 'bereft of ideas'.

For some time now, Rivers students have watched with utter dismay and total perplexity, the rhetorics of contempt and war of words staged against the former governor of Rivers state and immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi and Chief Eze C. Eze, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct nPDP and chieftain of the APC, by a group of unconscious and conscienceless mortals believed to be tools in the hands of a former Senator from Rivers South/East.

We would have been reluctant to be drawn into making comments or reacting to an unbalanced fabrications spewed out by media hacks and hirelings, but conscious of the malignancy of such spurious cocktail, intended to malign the duo who are meritoriously serving humanity, we cannot afford not to disinfect the minds of an unsuspecting section of the reading republic who may have been infected with the said media bazaar.

For the records, the said publications authored by Chief Eze, where he exposed plots by some individuals to stage a war against the smooth screening of Rt. Hon. Amaechi at the Hallowed Chambers of the Nigerian Senate were borne out good faith.

We wish to state categorically that Chief Eze Chukwuemwka is a great asset, held in high esteem by the Rivers APC considering his numerous efforts in trying to shield the party from the electoral woes bequeathed her by her legions of adversaries before and during the 2019 electioneering period.

Chief Eze is not a conflict entrepreneur but a man of peace and peaceful dispositions. Prior to the elections, he did his very best to call for a truce within the APC to give Rivers people the opportunity to enthrone good governance through the exercise of their franchise and therefore cannot, as a man of clear conscience, be fazed by shenanigans.

Who can be a better Riverns than a man who has shown an unwavering commitment towards the development of Rivers state and her people?

Who is a better Riverns than a man who has sacrificed his freedom for the peace of the state?

Instead of dissipating energies in whining and waging a futile media campaigns against Rivers APC and her esteemed leaders, we encourage them to invest their exertions at commending the efforts of Chief Eze in upholding public morals which seem to have been thrown to the dogs in Rivers.

Rather than going berserk, we encourage any one aggrieved by Chief Eze's publications to approach the court for redress and damages as is the case in enlightened climes.

Rivers students commend Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze for his doggedness and resilient at enthroning sanity within the APC despite stiff opposition by persons who are hellbent at ensuring the extinction of the party.

Rivers APC and her esteemed leaders have had more than enough media insults and unnecessary castigations, and it is only proper for aggrieved persons to shield their sword and listen to the voice of reason for the love of our dear state.

The heathen should no longer rage!"
