The Rivers State Coordinator of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Hon. Tekena Flag Amachree has felicitated with the former Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Minister of Transportation, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sir Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON KSJ on his Nomination, Screening and Confirmation as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


Tekena described the confirmation of Sir Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as a reward for competence, hard work and loyalty. He said, "The former Minister had shown revolutionary competence in his previous position, making sure he delivered on the mandate given to him by Mr President.

"With great deal of joy in my heart, I celebrate our Leader and wish him God's wisdom to carry out his duties effectively and make sure Niger Delta continues to be well represented in the scheme of things in our beloved Nation."
