Emohua, Ikwerre, Etche, Omuma, Oyigbo LGAs Receive Pallatives From Associates Of Rt Hon Amaechi
The people of Emohua, Ikwerre, Etche and Omuma and Oyigbo Local Government Areas of Rivers State have commended the Minister of Transportation, his Friends and Associates for the food items sent to them as palliatives.
A Non Governmental Organization, Green Nigeria Foundation Project in charge of the distribution of the food items revealed that some of the beneficiaries expressed their joy for the intervention by Amaechi and his Associates, and said it was not only timely but crucial.
Natives and residents of the areas visited today said the gesture will help to sustain their families and prayed God's blessings upon them donor and the group in charge of the distribution.
Ezekiel Nyenwegwe who was the Governorship Candidate of Justice Movement People Party, JMPP in the last General election in the state who participated in the distribution point said he was pleased with the way and manner which it is being handled by the group as it is not based on party affiliation.
The National President of Green Nigeria Foundation Project, Pastor Warigbani Ezekiel insisted that the interest of the donors is the welfare of Rivers people at this hard time, irrespective of party, religion or ethnicity.
