President Buhari Orders NSIA To Hand Over East-West Road, N19.7Bn Back To MNDA

Citizens Quest for Truth Initiative has it on good authority that President Buhari has granted the request of the Minister for Niger Delta Affairs to return the handling of the East-West Road project to the Ministry from the NSIA.


In the same vein, the President also directed the NSIA to immediately transfer the sum of N19.7Bn to the Ministry for Sections I - IV of the East West Road Project.

Recall that Citizens Quest has made numerous visits to deplorable sections of the road and released quite a number of press statements calling the Federal Government, NSIA, MNDA and all parties involved to prioritize the completion of this all important access road.

Today, Citizens Quest is elated to announce the new developments as regards the Presidential directive to release funds for the project held in the NSIA since 2018 and the Minister's instruction to the project contractors SETRACO to immediately return to site will ameliorate the years of suffering faced on the hitherto abandoned project. We earnestly believe that this will not be the case of business as usual relying on Senator Godswill Akpabio's reputation as an uncommon transformer.
