 NIMASA Donates Relief Materials, SME Machinery To Flood Victims In Rivers State

The Chairman, Board of NIMASA and Leader of Orashi region, Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable, Saturday, supervise the distribution of relief materials and Small & Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) machinery to victims of the perennial floods in the Orashi LGAs (Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni) of Rivers State, donated by the Nigerian Maritime Administration & Safety Agency (NIMASA) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Relief materials donated include food items such as rice, garri, yam, vegetable and palm oil, sugar and salt, noodles and spaghetti, diary food; wrappers, mattresses and mats, blankets, mosquito nets, diapers and sanitary pads, disinfectants, drugs and medical care items. 

SME machinery donated include sewing machines, grinding machines, welding machines, vulcanising machines, generators, motorcycles and tricycles (keke napep), hair clippers and accessories, standing hair dryer machines and make-up sets.
