 NIMASA Donates Relief Materials To Kogi State.

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency ( NIMASA)  had donated relief materials to internally displaced persons in Kogi State Nigeria. The Director General of the Agency Dr Jamoh Bashir, represented by the Deputy Director Reform Coordination and Safety Management Mr Owumibi Oladije said the donation was part of  NIMASA's Cooperate Social Responsibility  ( CSR)  to reduce the plight of those affected by the flood and other Natural disasters.

The Kogi State Governor while receiving the items through his Deputy Edward Onoja applauded the quality of  items provided. According to him " In the past  it will be only food items,  but noe pur people have been given things to help them find means of livelihood,  he also appreciated NIMASA for the items.  He further assured that the state Government will ensure that only those truly displaced will recieve the items.

The items include Tri-cycle (  keke napep),  Motorcycle,  Sewing machines, food items,  clippers,  grinding machines etc.
