Hon. Victor Tubotamuno Abiye Briggs a.k.a. Tulutu is a household name in the political and sociocultural affairs of Akuku-Toru. He has distinguished himself and carved a niche in the political chronology of Rivers State.
A true born leader, a youth empowerment machine, motivator, advocate of grassroot development and a philanthropist by nature.
Tulutu has won the hearts of many youths in Akulga and indeed the entire Kalabari people with his innate act of kindness and generosity shown to both young and old at every given opportunity.
A successful entrepreneur with verifiable records of accomplished goals in his personal life, business, political and sociocultural endeavors.
He prides of men and women of highly respected personalities in the society as friends, associates, spiritual fathers and mentors. People who at one point or another had encountered him and approved of his flawless morals, divine virtues, impeccable qualities and decent principles.
Indeed, the grace which propels his remarkable achievements is DIVINE!
Overtime, Victor has shown in his character, a man with love and care for all irrespective of cultural belief, ethnic difference, political affiliation or origin. A man with passion for the progress and development of his people, state and nation.
It is, therefore pertinent to state categorically that, the call on Hon. Victor Briggs to represent the good people of Asalga/Akulga Federal Constituency come 2019 is a well thought-out decision by all and sundry.
The pain and neglect is felt by all, the decision to liberate ourselves from the shackles of poverty, dearth and suffering is a collective desire of the people.
Friedrich Durrenmatt, a Swiss writer once said "What concerns everyone can only be resolved by everyone."
We have, therefore, as a people, a concerned people of Asalga/Akulga, resolved to rally behind Hon. Victor Tubotamuno Briggs and key into his vision. A vision that is all-encompassing!
