The King of Eleme Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, King Samuel .O. Ejire JP has gone to meet his marker. Statement released by Prince Awalanta Media Team, reads :
A dark day, December 6, 2018. Indeed for the good people of Eleme Local Government, as HRM. Sir, Dr. Samuel Oluka Ejire JP, king Of Eleme Kingdom departs on a everlasting journey to rest with the Lord almighty.
The demise of his Imperial Majesty, HRM, DR. S.O Ejire, The Oneh-Eh-Eleme X, who until his sudden death was a government recognised first class, traditional ruler, his sojourn to be with our maker filtered in, in the early hours of today, and arose a huge shock among the citizenry and comminity residers who somuch reverend their traditional ruler, his death is indeed recorded as a great loss to the Eleme nation, Rivers-State, and Nigeria even beyond.
At this moment of grief, the entire Eleme people will miss your motivating and fatherly role, and guidance given towards the sustainance of our sacred unity, to always live in peace and the settlement of dispute, and all other traditional rites.
Your Majesty, during your courageous stay on earth, Eleme witnessed a rapid growth in all sectors, and you embraced the works of our Lord wholeheartedly by contributing enormously towards the expansion of Anglican churches in the land, Your Majesty, you were indeed a christain monarch with intergrity.
We pray may God almighty grant your family , and the entire Eleme people the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss, and may your gentle soul find solace in the bossom of our maker, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
