A prominent and versatile politician with a distinct and uncommon passion and love for her region Evang.Caroline Nagbo has call on the Niger Delta people and the country at large to adhere strictly by complying to the health advice by the World Health Organization(WHO),and the National Centre For Disease Control(NCDC),to fight the deadly Corona Virus.
In a telephone chat with newsmen over the weekend,the member Interim Management Committee(IMC),of Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC),in charge of Women,Youths,Culture and Sports,maintained that remaining steadfast to all the prescribed system of living will help to avoid the communicable disease being transferred from one person to another.
She observed that the virus has caused untold economic hardship on the people.
Evang.Caroline Nagbo however prayed for divine intervention that will bring an end to the dreaded deadly pandemic virus that is threatening the entire globe.
She used the opportunity to commend health workers across the board for their priceless sacrifice all in the bid to save lives at this critical time.
The Ogoni born Women Rights Activist commended President Mohammadu Buhari for being proactive and ensuring that the required and needed funds are released to fight the virus and save lives.
She however thanked individuals and cooperate organizations for rising to the occasion by making donations to complement government efforts to win the battle against the scourge.
