Members of the Rivers APC Executive Council under the leadership of Chief Dr Davies Ikanya, today visited Omuma Local Government Area for the ongoing sensitization exercise.
The State Excos paid a courtesy call on the king of Omuma HRH Eze Sir Monday I.O Ojiegbe ( Omu II Paramount Ruler of Omuma Land). The Eze, welcomed and thanked Chief Ikanya and his team for finishing time to visit the peaceful Omuma Kingdom, he also advised that the meeting with other Excos should be free from hitch and rancor, in his words " Omuma has always been peaceful and always will be, welcome you and look forward to having you in subsequent occasions".

In his response, the State Party Chairman Chief Davies, thanked the King, for the opportunity and his kind words saying the king has always been a man who stands for the truth and uprightness, he also prayed that the good lord will always bless the king and keep him alive. The Courtesy call ended with shot prayer session.
The Exco train then moved to the venue of their meeting with LGA executives. The event started with a brief prayer, after which the State Chairman, thanked LGA Excos for their work so far, and pleaded with them to do more, as their is light at the end of the tunnel. In his words " It is important to take charge of your domain, as any leadership position you hold is your own domain"
He also said all their work so far isn't unnoticed and the good news is the fact that empowerment will reach everyone in the shortest possible time. According to him, everyone is important, and teamwork is the key to having excellent results.
Questions were asked by the LGA and ward Excos, and the questions received positive answers from the state Chairman Dr Ikanya. The event ended with closing prayer.
