Sofiri Nathaniel Gladstone Dappa is a graduate of Estate Surveying and Valuation from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology - RSUST (now Rivers State University - RSU), with a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Certificate.
Born in Port Harcourt. A quintessential Opobo Son, gifted to the family of the Late Warisenibo Gladstone Adabibi Nathaniel Dappa (of Chief Brown-Agent Dappa War Canoe House) and Late Mrs. Charity Mmejiriaka Dappa (nee Kulo-Dappa) all of Kalaibiama Town, Opobo Kingdom in Opobo/Nkoro LGA of Rivers State.
He attended St. Andrew's Anglican Church Nursery School, Diobu; St. Andrew's State School 1, Diobu; Government Secondary School, Borikiri where he was the School's Bell Ringer/Time Keeper at JSS3 and later Social Prefect at SSS3.

Sofiri Dappa who holds certifications from Fate Foundation, NIIT and the Global Institute of Telecommunications Lagos, is a business enthusiast, he is CEO of Sonajeglada Nigeria Limited, a Real Estate firm, made up of young Estate Surveyors, Architects, Land Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Urban and Regional Planners.
He has held the following leadership positions:
*Pioneer PRO, Kalaibiama Dappa's Youths Association
*President of the Interact and Rotaract Clubs (respectively)
*Faculty Secretary and later elected Faculty President of the Environmental Science Students Association (ENSSA) RSUST, becoming the first President to so organise a world class ENSSA Week with the support of Her Excellency, Dame Judith Amaechi (the then ENSSA Grand Patron).
*National Cordinator, Niger Delta Youths for Effective Representation (NDYfER)
*State Publicity Secretary, Rivers State Youth Leaders Assembly
*Vice President of the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Central
Sofiri, a foundation member of the All Progressives Congress - APC, has been at different times, Member of the Enlightenment/Mobilization Committee of Opobo/Nkoro LGA, Special Assistant to the Supervisor on Youths and Sports of Opobo/Nkoro LGA and was a State Member (on New Media) of the Dr. Dakuku Peterside's #GreaterTogether Campaign Organization for the 2015 Governorship Elections in Rivers State.
Sofiri Gladstone Dappa holds membership to the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Fellow of the Global Telecoms Academy, Ambassador for Peace - Universal Peace Federation and Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary International.
SGD as he is fondly called by friends and admirers is a Social Engineer who got married at a seemingly young age of 27years to his Best Friend, Olufunke Jane Sofiri-Dappa; an Urban and Regional Planner by profession, the marriage is blessed with two lovely daughters, Elnora and Elhanan.
